Organic India Psyllium Husk Capsules offers an organic-positioned alternative to mixing loose husk into a drink. The current 180-count label declares both psyllium mass and dietary fiber, which makes several comparisons possible. Its direct-store availability, however, needs to be read before treating an extracted sale price as an offer you can actually order.
This review checked the U.S. capsule listing, rendered controls, official catalog and label images on September 26, 2026. We did not buy the product, authenticate a lot or test its effects. CoreAge Rx Full House remains this publication's sponsored first placement through common ownership; that arrangement does not make either product clinically superior.
The current direct-store record
The rendered Organic India page selected 180 count and displayed a notify-me option, plus links to other retailers. The public catalog identified SKU SPSY180, a price of $18.99, and availability set to false. Those observations support describing the direct-store variant as unavailable when checked, without making a claim about every outside retailer.
TinyFish's text extraction also surfaced $14.24 alongside $18.99. We did not verify that lower figure as an available checkout price in the rendered store. It is therefore not used as the current purchase price here. This distinction prevents a hidden or stale promotional value from becoming an apparently live bargain.
The page's free-shipping language does not resolve an unavailable direct purchase, and it cannot be transferred to Amazon, Walmart, Target or a local store. We did not confirm those retailers' sellers, stock, shipping, return terms or final prices. Check the actual retailer and exact package before ordering elsewhere.
What five capsules declare
The current facts image shows five capsules per serving and 36 servings per container. It declares 2.6g organic psyllium seed husk, 2g dietary fiber, 2g soluble fiber and less than 1g insoluble fiber. Other ingredients are listed as organic pullulan.
These are label declarations, not laboratory measurements performed by this publication. Rounded fiber values should not be added together as though each were an exact analytical number. In particular, “less than 1g” is not the same as precisely 1g, and the total fiber declaration remains 2g.
The amount translator keeps psyllium mass, dietary fiber and soluble fiber in separate fields. A five-capsule serving can be compared with another manufacturer's serving only when that denominator is visible. The blend-weight guide explains why the 2.6g ingredient amount should not replace the separate 2g dietary-fiber line.
A capsule shell is part of the formula
Organic pullulan is the named capsule material. That detail may help a shopper who wants to compare shells, but it is not evidence that the finished product will be easier to swallow or better tolerated. We did not measure capsule dimensions or compare swallowing experiences.
The product uses USDA Organic, non-GMO and gluten-free positioning. The pictured certification marks and seller claims describe quality or production categories; they are not clinical trials. We did not perform a separate current certificate or batch audit for the package a reader may buy.
Organic status also should not be translated into “no contaminants,” “no allergy risk” or “safe for everyone.” Our shells and allergens guide explains how to distinguish an ingredient statement from a cross-contact assessment. Request product-specific information when an allergy or other restriction makes it necessary.
Read the water and medicine language carefully
The seller's directions describe five capsules and at least 10 ounces of water, with a twice-daily use statement. The page also offers a lower starting amount. Those are manufacturer directions, not a plan prescribed by this review. A label serving, a suggested frequency and a suitable personal routine are different questions.
The page's medicine-spacing language says to allow one hour before or after medications and explicitly mentions GLP-1 therapies. That broad statement is not enough to determine the correct timing for every medicine or formulation. Bring the full label and medication list to a pharmacist, especially when medicines have their own specific administration requirements.
Do not infer that a capsule can be swallowed with less liquid because it requires no mixing. MedlinePlus's psyllium information describes liquid and swallowing precautions. Our water-and-medicines file helps keep those considerations together without inventing a universal spacing schedule.
GLP-1 and fullness claims have limits
Organic India markets the product's satiety role to GLP-1 users. We did not identify and review a clinical trial of this exact 180-count capsule product showing improved outcomes in people taking a specific GLP-1 medicine. A product-page statement about fullness does not establish weight-loss benefit, medicine compatibility or management of medication-related symptoms.
Someone experiencing persistent constipation, vomiting, abdominal pain or difficulty eating while using a medicine should discuss those symptoms with the prescribing team. Adding a fiber product is not automatically the right response, and this review does not recommend changing a prescribed treatment.
The IBS evidence file illustrates the same boundary in a different setting: useful ingredient research still needs to match the diagnosis, outcome and preparation. A brand's audience description cannot do that matching on its own.
Keep the warning and documentation visible
The product page's California section warns that the product can expose users to lead. We did not obtain a current lot-specific contaminant report or independently measure exposure. Do not replace that unresolved question with the assumption that organic sourcing guarantees an absence of heavy metals.
If testing is a priority, request a report identifying the product, lot, laboratory, test date, analytes and results. A general statement about testing or a review of another Organic India powder does not authenticate this capsule package. We also did not treat a customer comment about third-party approval as an independently verified certificate.
Our limited FDA search did not identify a matching capsule recall notice. A search result naming another company with similar words is not enough to identify this product, and a lack of matching results is not a safety guarantee. The product-problem guide explains why names, lots and official notices matter.
What to compare next
The label supports a useful comparison of declared quantities: five capsules, 2.6g psyllium and 2g dietary fiber. The direct-store availability and unverified outside-retailer terms limit any current price conclusion. We have not established a guaranteed supply duration, personal benefit, delivery experience or actual-batch quality.
For another clearly identified bottle, read the Nutricost 500-count review. Its three-capsule serving and separate ingredient and fiber amounts make a different comparison. Use the six-product shortlist to keep those records side by side, with the commercial first placement disclosed and clinical outcomes left out of the ranking.
